Chinese Tung chih period (1862-1875) Famille Verte large porcelain jardinière or fishbowl with intricate floral motifs hand painted on all sides so this piece can be viewed from any perspective. This large size - 14 1/4 inch diameter by 12 inches high - makes this piece suitable for a large plant or grand floral arrangement. Of course it could also be used for small goldfish as there are no drainage holes, circa 1862-1875.
