Japanese Yumino Wax Bean Storage Jar, northern Kyushu, Yumino kiln, well shaped and thickly potted stoneware jar, large well-rounded body with everted lip, lightly applied white slip with dripping copper-oxide green glaze with bottom section partially wiped off with fingers while still on wheel prior to firing in classic Yumino style. 13-1/2" Edo Period. Circa 1800.
