Offered is an exceptional Hozan Satsuma charger exquisitely painted charger. The charger is decorated with chrysanthemum and an iris floral boarder surrounding a delicately painted scene of men and women on a bridge by a tea house outside a temple entrance with wisteria blossoms. The work dates from the early 20th century. The work measures approximate 14" x 14" x 1 7/8" H.
