About

These are a very good pair of 18th century, Chinese Export porcelain plates, which we date to the Qing, Qianlong period (1736-1795), circa 1760. The plates are nicely hand decorated with the typical enamel colours of the famille-rose palette of pink, mauve, blue, green and terracotta all in varying shades. The central well decoration shows a pagoda landscape with trees, rocks and small boats in a lakeside setting. There are inner and outer borders with floral detail, the flowers detailed in shades of pink from a soft light color to a rich ruby red. The outer rims have a light brown hand-painted café-au-lait, honey brown finish. The foot rims are neatly finished and there are no markings to the bases. The overall condition is very good and these plates display extremely well. ********************************** FREE GLOBAL SHIPPING ****************************************
