A stunning pair of Chinese Qing Dynasty turquoise glazed melon form lidded ginger jars with over molded decorations, late 19th or early 20th century, China. The jars with lobed, globular bodies, decorated in over molded relief with a central spray of peonies, and surrounded by lush vines bearing melons. The lids with a vine motif and topped by a finial imitating a melon stem. The jars glazed all over in a brilliant turquoise glaze.
