Created in China during the Qing Dynasty period, this low table, which could nowadays be used as a coffee table (the Chinese didn't used coffee tables in the 19th century), features a rectangular top with central board, sitting above a beautifully carved apron. This apron is adorned with a central calligraphic motif surrounded by scrolls, animals, foliage and geometric accents. Raised on four straight legs with scrolling feet, the table boasts a dark patina.
