Antique Pair of Red, Blue and Multicoloured Cloisonné Tables
About the Item
These rare tables have a spectacular presence due to their grand size and intricate work. Cloisonné, derived from the French word “enclosed” is an ancient technique of decorating metalwork objects. This technique is done by soldering wires in thin strips placed on edge making small compartments. The compartments are then filled with enamel that can be of any color. We suggest placing these in an interior to add historical value and sophistication.
