British Colonial Secretary Cabinet from Indonesia
About the Item
A tall Indonesian antique secretary with twin glass panel doors, mid-19th century. British Colonial style.
Polychromed teak wood in two tones of red, plus gilt accents. Three shelves on the top cabinet, two drawers under the writing surface. Ornately carved cabriolé legs and trim with ball and claw feet.
Generally good condition, consistent with age and use. No structural issues.
Doors and desk surface need some restoration.
