This handsome elmwood chest was handcrafted over a hundred years ago according traditional Chinese woodworking techniques. Using neither screws, nails or glue, a skilled woodworker fashioned the chest to be sturdy and to seamlessly unite the elements into an elegant whole. The chest exhibits a pleasing rusticity that can only be obtained over time.
