Japanese Antique Glass Cupboard Cabinet Showcase 1920s-1930s Wabi-Sabi

About the Item

This is an old Japanese glass door storage shelf. It was made in the early Showa period (1926-1930). It is divided into upper and lower parts. This was originally used as a display shelf for cigarettes sold in a tobacco shop's showcase. (It's been a long time since I stopped using it, so there is no smell.) The black paint is original and although there is some paint peeling in places, it still has a very nice feel. All but the front is unpainted, and I think the bicolor black and white wood design looks really cool. This atmosphere is unique to antiques. The shelves are fixed and strong, so you can store a lot of things. All the doors and drawers operate smoothly so although they are very old they can be used on a daily basis. When shipping, the product will be shipped in two separate packages, top and bottom. We will always suggest the best shipping method. Please contact us first. We also introduce many other Japanese antique furniture and objects collected from all over Japan. Please take a look if you like.
