Japanese Traditional Design Exhibition Stand / Japanese Old Wooden Shelves

About the Item

It is a shelf made of very beautiful traditional Japanese decoration and wood. The wood is paulownia and ebony. Paulownia is a material often used for tansu. It's a soft tree, but it's very light. Ebony, on the other hand, is a hard material that is also often used in high-end furniture. The contrast between black and white is beautiful. The carved parts of ebony represent clouds. Clouds are a design that has been used since ancient times in Japan. It is often used in the decoration of shrines and temples. It was made in the Showa period. It is light and thin. Please use it carefully because it is a delicate piece of furniture. [Note] Originally, this shelf is assembled, but when it is shipped, it will be shipped as it is. Please rest assured that it will be shipped in a wooden box. There are small scratches because it is an old product. Please consent in advance.
