Pair of life size Chinese cloisonné or enamel on copper birds decorated with elaborate floral designs, having brass crests, beaks, and feet and removable wings.

These lovely large-scale figures are dressed in richly patterned blue cloisonne vests and hold a peach in yellow cloisonne enamels, circa 1920-1930. The bodies of the monkeys are repousse copper with many fine details worked from the inside and outside of the form making them charming and very expressive.
