A large patinated bronze Japanese mixed metal overlay charger, Meiji Period (late 19th century), decorated in gold, silver, copper and bronze. Naturistically accurate depiction of sparrows, amongst, bamboo, berries and lotus pods. The charger measures 17 3/4"-inches in diameter x 1 1/2"-inches thick. Nice patina on front and back of the charger. (Please see pics.)
