Old Japanese wabi-sabi iron ball / 20th century / small spherical object

About the Item

This is an old Japanese iron ball. It is not clear what it was made for, but it was probably made as a cannonball or something. It is thought to have been made after 1920. The charm of this ball is the details on its surface. It has slight dents and a moist, glossy shine, giving it a different elegance than a rusty iron ball. It is also not a perfect sphere, so it has a slightly irregular shape. The rugged impression is also one of its charms. Please enjoy it by placing it on an exhibition stand. Weight: 2.6 kg [We are a company consisting of four different stores with four different brands. We offer a wide range of attractive items from all over the world with a focus on Japanese items. We offer Japanese antique furniture and tools that are different from the Japanese antique furniture and art that have been appreciated abroad. These tools were used in private homes and farmhouses in the past. They have been passed through a long time and have an attractive taste. The reality is that many of these items are now being discarded along with the demolition of houses. We are on a mission to re-evaluate these fascinating old objects and preserve them for future generations. And we have seen tens of thousands of items so far. We have used that experience to list the most fascinating items here. We can do this because of our long experience. We will rediscover the "beauty" produced in the life and culture of the common people, which is different from the Japanese art and culture that is known and scattered around the world, and present it to the world. ]
