About

A tall Japanese black lacquer kimono stand possibly late Edo or early Meiji, circa 1870. Often called a Kimonokake decorated with 'Tokugawa Mon', scrolling gilt decoration interspersed with pine leaves and copper mounts with engraved foliate scrolling.
