A set of four hand needlework silk panels in black lacquered frames. The panels with a black silk background with embroidered cherry blossoms, birds and spider mum florals. The high quality and expert talent of the needlework done by a Japanese artisan in the late 19th century. The condition is very good with a few minor pulls hard to find or notice. The back is plain. These can be attached to make a beautiful screen.
