Japan folding two-panel tea screen furosaki byobu depicting "Contemporary Mountainsides," mineral ink colors on paper 21.5” high and 72” wide when fully extended. Virtually mint condition. Red seal stamp of artist. A lovely composition in reasonable, useful size with vibrant gold and cream colors. These small tea screens are sought after today for their unique beauty, comfortable size, and the way that they complement contemporary settings. Provenance: Private collection Kanazawa, Japan.
