Japanese six-panel screen, pine in winter, Taisho period painting (1912-1926) in minimal color on paper, by Bunto Hayashi (1882-1966), signed and sealed. Hayashi was born in Kyoto, and studied under Maekawa Bunrei and Yamamoto Shunkyo. He founded the Japan Independent Painting Group (Nihon Jiyu Gadan).
