Rare & Collectable Vintage Chinese Export Hardstone Folding Screen Room Divider
About the Item
We are delighted to offer for sale this extremely well made and highly collectable Chinese Export circa 1940’s Hardstone room divider folding screen.
A truly stunning and exquisitely made piece, I’ve not seen one with this lighter colour finish before, usually they are black, it really makes a change and brings a lot more light and presents to the piece. It’s finished with gold to the base which again gives it that Emperors palace charisma. The main figures are all hand carved from hardstone which has been expertly chosen based on the colour and size, this truly is the nicest example I have come across and worthy of any home
Condition we have deep cleaned, hand condition waxed and hand polished it from top to bottom, it will have some age and use related patina marks here and there as you would expect.
