Edo period (18th century) furosaki screen (tea screen), with seal of the artist: Jakyu. Korin School painting, employing Kenzan style of split image. (see "Morning Glories" Metropolitan Museum of Art for comparison). Illustrated in Masterpieces of Japanese Screens, Muromachi through Edo Periods, Japan, plate #40.
Screen is mineral pigments painted on paper with a silk brocade border.
