About

A Chinese Qing dynasty-style mahogany half-size four-panel folding screen featuring a series of original paintings, circa late 1960s. Finely painted tetraptych on rice paper depicting delightful folkloric vignettes representing luck, prosperity, health, and longevity. Annotated and signed by the artist. Under glass on brownish-black silk matte with decorative pattern woven in relief. Skillfully carved solid mahogany frame with bamboo motif, including leafy shoots at top and bottom.
