About the Item
A beautifully composed woodblock print by famed Japanese printmaker Kiyoshi Saito. Many consider Saito to be one of the most important, if not the most important, contemporary Japanese printmakers of the 20th century. This print, which is titled "Nara (C)" features strong, bold colors and wood grain, and a complex design.
The print is signed in black ink and stamped/sealed in red within the image, titled, dated (1962), and numbered (101/200) in pencil by the artist in the lower margin. With the "Kiyoshi Saito" watermark in the lower right edge.
Would be a great addition to any modern Japanese or Asian print collection or eye-catching stand-alone work once framed.

- Condition:In very good to excellent vintage condition. Some light pencil notation (appears to me matting instructions) in the right margin can likely be erased or simply covered when matted. Rich deep impression and colors. A gorgeous work overall.
