Fragment of the foot of a huge wooden Buddha from the Heian to Kamakura period. It is thought to be one of a pair of A-un Nio statues. It is thought to be the little toe part of the left foot. Buddha statues from this period are very valuable. Even a small part of a Buddha statue like this has a great presence. The sculptures created by faith are beautiful. Weight: 0.7kg
