From our recent Japanese Acquisition Travels- a rare Pair A good pair of antique hand carved 19th century granite stone rabbits. The first pair we have had the pleasure of owning- neat garden treasures from Japan. These are finely crafted hand carved big eared effigies- one seated and one standing erect. These were sourced from a large Japanese garden collection this past year. Quality: Finest smoothly carved ears, paws, cute nose and tail, and other details; attractive dark original patina- just the way we love to find them. Substantial dimensions: Tallest is 10.5 inches tall and seated rabbit is 10 inches Hand carved, smooth to the touch with original dark handling patina.
