Hand painted in stunning blue and white colors comes this desirable set of five (5) beautiful antique ceramic fish or koi plates dating to the early 20th century, Taisho period, Arita kiln. Signed.
Each unique serving plate is beautifully crafted with exaggerated fins and snouts as only the Japanese master artisans can achieve and smartly crafted with sturdy tripod feet, hand painted and hand glazed, signed back side.
Bonus: included is the original old wood signed storage box tomobako as shown.
Fine quality.
Perfect cocktail hour hors d'oeuvres displays.
