About the Item

A quite beautiful and striking tall stone carved praying serene Buddha sculpture/statue on a custom display stand. We believe this artifact/Buddha fragment was originally from Thailand (when we initially found the statue there was a small tag attached that read "original Thailand") but it could be from another surrounding country - Burma, Laos,, etc.... We are listing it as late 19th to early 20th century but it could very well be older. It may have likely come from a temple grounds or shrine at one time. A heavy, solid, very engaging piece with a beautiful, aged patina. Unique and one of a kind. Would be a great addition to any Buddha collection or make for a very eye catching stand alone accent piece in about any setting.
