19th Century Italian Carved Marble Architectural Frieze Sculpture of Caesar

19th Century Italian carved marble Architectural Frieze Sculpture of Caesar, Of rectangular form the finely carved Carrera Marble 50" x 20" slab with applied draped laurels. Centered with a Statuary Marble high relief carved portrait medallion of a laurel wearing Caesar- Claudius and Titus have been suggested. The frieze is mounted in a steel frame with a wood back for additional support. 50-Inches wide x 21-Inches high x 4-Inches deep ( 1.75-Inches thick in the steel frame mounting) 19-Inch diameter laurel medallion, the portrait medallion has a 14-Inch circumference.
