About the Item

An attractive George III style white marble fireplace. The frieze delicately carved with scrolled foliage to centre blocking and side panels. The jambs with carved tied ribbon with bellflower drops below. Based on a late 18th century original. Measures: Shelf width - 1510 mm / 59 1/2 in Overall height - 1310 mm / 51 5/8 in Opening height - 960 mm / 37 3/4 in Opening width - 955 mm / 37 5/8 in Depth of shelf - 170 mm / 6 3/4 in N.B.
