Pair 19th Century Neoclassical Style Italian Plaster Urns with Flame Finials
About the Item
Pair of Italian neoclassical style urns in relief that can either stand on their own or hang from the wall as decorative elements. Quite handsome, with acanthus leaf decoration and flame finials, modeled after ancient Roman originals. Something that would be at home in a Palladian Villa. Nice patina of age with some weathering. Strong presence and good scale at 28.5 inches tall.

- Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. Hairline crack to the base neck of one urn, they have a metal inner supports so it is not a structural concern. Overall weathering of surface and a section of pitting on one urn. Please see photos.
