Custom produced and size can be varied for each order from 24" to 47" wide and up to 120" tall. Model shown is recently produced and is as shown 43" wide and 80" tall. This particular door is priced differently from all others we produce (see separate listings) due to the radial walnut being a special order item requiring considerable work, see other listings for all other models. The radial pattern is on both sides and is the most difficult door we have that we produce ad compliments the starburst bar pattern. Spanish furniture and architecturals of the 18th century, such as this pair of walnut wood entry doors, were highly influenced by French stylings. Hand-carved circa 1750, the doors feature deep, sinuous moldings, reminiscent of the curvaceous motifs seen during the reign of Louis XV. The amazing doors have a rich brown patina that accentuates the charm of the carvings, which are also enhanced by the visible screws used to join the pieces of walnut wood. Comprised of five carved panels per door, each carving is similar: a rough rectangle with rounded ends and barbed counter curves. The three smaller panels are orientated horizontally, surrounding the two larger and vertically arranged panels. A thickly scrolled bronze pull can be seen on each door, also functioning as door knockers (the door on the right has commensurate wear from the pull striking the wood).
