Magnificent double sunburst doors by Billy Joe McCarroll and David Gillespe, USA, circa 1970s. “Exterior” side in carved and impressed 2″ thick redwood in a radiant sunburst pattern adorn both sides of these doors. “Interior” side ebonized with deeply incised lines and finely modeled details exhibit the highest quality precision craftsmanship. Solid bronze C-shaped handles on both doors interior and exterior. Created by Forms and Surfaces, Inc., California in the early 1970s.
