About

Pair of early 19th century French painted arch-top shutter doors. Doors feature mortise and tenon construction and old original forged and cast iron fittings and hardware. The front sides of the doors are painted in light gray, worn to the wood in places, and the reverse sides are a worn chalky white hue. Each door measures 25 inches wide for a total width of 50 inches. Doors are 1.5 inches deep but total depth is 4 inches when taking into account the decorative cast iron latch.
