Ebonized tin, copper and brass coal scuttle, London by H. Loveridge, 1870s The model is the Edinburg featuring a high relief copper panel of a bird on a limb surrounded by leaves, tall grasses with a beautiful brass handle, hinges and its original metal insert. This is a rare aesthetic movement artistic metalware with its original porcelain handled shovel.
