About the Item

A carved and Adzed carved oak fire screen attributed to Robert Thompson Mouseman with embossed and painted leather panel of a ship in full sail. The owl's on this screen are almost identical to known ones carved in the Mouse man workshops. Measures: Height 37", depth of feet 9 1/2", width from owl to owl 27".
