About the Item
This decorative black wrought iron and parcel-gilt free standing fire screen is a late 19th century Arts & Crafts Florentine artifact. The rectangular panel is flanked by an iron twisted frame throughout and decorated with scrolled iron design on top, centered by a stylized gilt iron flower, the whole resting on thick iron curled legs all in blackened iron.
Perfect to be placed in front of a fireplace, this Italian fire screen will bring a stylish touch to any living room perfect both in a contemporary and classical environment. It would be wonderful in a rustic or Mediterranean design aesthetic.
