A statuary marble chimney piece of typical early 19th century, English Regency design. The rectangular shelf with reeded edge, above the frieze which is centered with an oblong tablet carved with an oval medallion of a flower head, flanked by convex reeded panels, the jambs similarly decorated and capped with acanthus decorated brackets. The whole mounted on blockings.
