A fine quality mid 19th century (circa 1850) English steel firegrate, with prominent urn shaped dogs featuring heraldic animal faces, scroll and ball feet. Shaped ornate cast back. Measures: Width at front: 985 mm 38 ¾" Width at back: 550 mm 21 " Height: 815 mm 32 " Depth: 455 mm 17 ".
