Georgian Brass & Steel Dog Grate

About the Item

A beautiful Georgian brass and steel dog grate. The railed basket with fine engraved openwork fret consisting of scrolls and foliage, set on turned brass legs with engraved vase finials uppermost. The rear elements consist of a rivet-work grill and bevelled fire back. Restored. Circa 1810.
