Mid 19th Century Victorian Cast Iron Fireplace Insert.

About the Item

A charming mid 19th Century Victorian cast iron fireplace insert. A generous outer plate with high relief corner embellishments, a three barred shaped fire front. The casting stamp to the rear tells us this was cast in 1849. The internal fire opening measures 620mm high x 355mm wide. English 1849
