Rondo fire pit by AK47 design.
Art meets function with the Rondo wood-burning fire pit. Created by combining steel and stone, the aesthetic is pleasing and sophisticated. Standing on steel feet makes it simple to move the Rondo anywhere, and it looks equally on a terrace as it does in the grass. Italian stone elevates the fire pit, and a protective cover keeps ashes in their place. Add grill accessories to the Rondo and it seamlessly becomes a barbecue grill when it’s not the focal point of any gathering.
The fire pit is made up of a steel framework with the visible components finished in oxidised steel, which are given a special treatment to prevent corrosion.
The round sitting surface is in Santafiora trachyte stone, finished with great artisanal skill.
Santafiora trachyte, an Italian stone, is very versatile, refined and precious, with a predominant hazel coloring.
Being a natural material, the stone’s grain can vary depending on the different period of extraction.
Rondo is supplied with a steel cover plate to cover the combustion chamber which isolates the fire’s residual ash, in order to prevent the escape of residual material in the case of rain or wind.
When in operation, the upper stone part of the fire pit does not overheat.
With the dedicated stainless steel grill kit the fire pit can also be used as a barbecue.
