18th century Lavabo Wall Fountain Pewter Basin sink on Hand Carved Wood stand Antique . Imposing 18th century Louis XV of the period Lavabo in Hand Carved walnut with original pewter basins and fixtures faucet and stand. dating from the mid-18th to late 18th century. Retaining the original pewter liners and reservoir on the interior, it was used to collect the Gray water to be thrown out at a later time while preserving the 2nd outer basin that protects the Wood stand . The crisp carved accents lighten the walnut frame with Rococo carved shells and other forms.
This exquisite French fountain for an interior high end design will bring a touch of elegance to any room. It can even be worked as a sink in a bathroom or simply to hold dried lavender to add an exotic touch to any room in the house .
