American Art Deco beach umbrella produced by the Troy Sunshade Co. circa 1936. Highly stylized streamlined silkscreened graphic yellow and black ocean liners steaming through the waves against a brilliant orange sky. Cotton canvas duck on aluminum wire frame mounted to a two-part green stained oak pole. Original label present. From the collection of NYC antique dealer, Alan Moss.
