A cast-iron seat in the “Convulvus” or “Morning Glory” pattern, American, circa 1880. Measures: 33.5 ins. high, 61.5 ins. wide, approximately 26 ins. deep (front to back); seat height 16 ins., seat depth 16 ins.

This pattern was first cast by Coalbrookdale, circa 1855 and was offered in America soon after in 1858 by Wood & Perot.
