Wonderful 1960’s vintage Mid-Century Modern spun fiberglass forest green painted outdoor or patio dining table & four armchairs on casters. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that these are vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. New paint but not done by us. Needs cushions. Please see photos and zoom in for details. They have been given a new spray coated black vinyl dye on the frames and webbing and all new feet. For 70 years Brown Jordan has been bringing style and innovative design to outdoor living. Naturally, the first company to design furniture for outdoor use was founded in sunny Southern California. Robert Brown and Hubert Jordan established Brown Jordan in Pasadena, Ca during the heart of the Mid-Century Modern movement in 1945. The idea was to provide furniture that could be used outdoors, year-round. The quality of the aluminum frames and vinyl straps laced in their signature diagonal pattern stand the test of time. Fabulous vintage MCM outdoor table with paperclip style pedestal base and round dimpled glass top with a wide metal ring and an umbrella hole in the center. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. The entire table has been sanded and painted with Krylon ivory gloss paint. Spectacular vintage MCM (Mid-Century Modern) round black painted metal indoor/outdoor accent table with tripod base and glass top. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. We have given the table a fresh coat of black paint. This little black accent table is much like that little black dress, it just goes well with ANYTHING! It is comprised of a metal frame that has been given a fresh coat of black paint, a wonderful round top with raised trim around the edge, topped with lovely round glass which rests upon clear bumpers, and a fabulous tripod base with black feet. You can certainly use this table with or without the glass AND you can use it indoor or outdoor! Talk about versatility!! Wonderful vintage Tropitone outdoor chairs with vinyl straps & cushions, set of 6. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that these are vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. The chair frames and cushions have been pressure washed and professionally cleaned. We have touched up some places on the frames with Krylon ivory gloss and we have ordered new feet for the chairs. The cushions still have some stubborn stains after cleaning and two of the cushions are a slightly different color of white from the rest. Please see photos and zoom in for details. Tropitone was founded in Sarasota, Florida in 1954 by Burt M. Baker, a retired Lockhead Engineer and executive at Grand Rapids Chair Company. Tropitone served the contract market, including hotels, motels, clubs, and resorts with high performing outdoor patio furniture. In the 1960’s they introduced powder coated aluminum finishes to the industry. Utilizing a multi-step wash process that ensures a lasting finish, Tropitone’s aluminum frames prevail under any environmental conditions. Tropitone also pioneered the technique of double-wrapping vinyl straps around the powder coated aluminum frame for extra durability, which continues today. In 1970’s they established operations in Irvine, California which provided a bi-coastal manufacturing to North American customers. In the 80’s they released “Comfort is Key” cushions and sling seating. Tropitone sling seating has the perfect combination of clean lines, designer fabrics and carefree maintenance.
