Black Neoclassical Style Column Pedestal Pillar Stand Marble Top

A beautiful black fluted wood and white marble top pillar column pedestal stand in the Neoclassical design style, circa mid to late-20th century. Fluted wood pedestal is black with a white marble top (.88" thick) with black and grey veining. Marble top is round and adhered to fluted and octagonal base. Pedestal is in the style of the 'Doric Order' column of architecture. Great for sculpture, bust, plant, display, etc. Door/storage area: Column has small knob at top right-hand side revealing a secret door(s) that opens to an internal storage area with shelf (shown/demonstrated in images.) This area can be positioned to the front, side or back, all depending on how you'd like to position column (perhaps you'd like the opening of the doors in the back, for example.) Dimensions: Round top diameter: 15.88" x Height: 36".
