About the Item

A striking and extremely decorative pair of Italian late 18th/early 19th century faux painted marble and giltwood columns. Each beautiful wall mounted column is raised by a fine green faux painted marble base with an exceptional mottled giltwood plinth. At the center is the striking wonderfully executed original faux painted marble support with elegant fluted designs leading to stunning richly carved scrolled foliate capitals with a green faux painted marble top. Top Dimensions: L: 8.75" D: 4.25"
