Polychrome Majolica Moorish Italian Ceramic Bust Planter or Vase of a King Italy

About the Item

A colorful hand-made ceramic Italian Moorish bust vase or planter of a man. Handmade and glazed in brilliant blues, yellows, reds, and creams. This piece depicts the head of a King wearing a glazed cream crown of plump yellow majolica lemons, lush green leaves, and red berries. His crown with a blue quilted back matches his blue eyes. He sports a short black beard. Around his neck is a regal metal with a red tie. On the side at the bottom, the word “Invierno” is created with clay in black, on a blue banner background, and signed at the back in black. How we would style it: We love these busts in "The White Lotus." Fill this vase or planter just like the show with basil, (a symbol of the divine and sacredness in Sicily) or with water and your favorite fresh flowers. We suggest something with greenery to match the greenery on his crown. Dimensions: 11.75" Tall 8" Diameter.
