1970s Austrian Vintage Art Nouveau Style Light Blue Glass Bowl with Oak Leaves
About the Item
1970s very decorative glass centrepiece / platter plate, by artist Michna, handcrafted in crystal pâte de verre tinted in a sophisticated and unusual aquamarine blue. The exclusive Art Nouveau decor is realized with the intaglio acid-etched technique: the tinted pâte de verre is cased in another layer of coffee brown colored glass which is hand carved, leaving the unique organic decoration of Art Nouveau acorns and oak leaves in relief, a very attractive piece and also a stylish addition to any dining table setting. As new, never used.
Ideal as a gift, for Mother's Day, Valentine or Christmas. Other colors and different decor available. Another blue one available in a narrower shape.
