Massive 19th Century Wooden Tray

About the Item

A fantastic and lust-worthy 19th century Southeast Asian wooden quern, the vessel used to hold grains in the milling process, with an incredible patina from over a century of use. Querns are used in conjunction with a top stone and cranked by hand to mill grains into flour. This piece is now perfect for use as a large tray on an ottoman, in the center of a dining table, or on a kitchen island filled with fruits and vegetables. For an additional fee we can have a custom mount made so that the quern can be hung on a wall.
