Barovier Toso Murano Gold Flecks Iridescent Italian Art Glass Center Bowl Vase
About the Item
Beautiful and large, vintage Murano hand blown transparent with iridescent surface and gold flecks Italian art glass centerpiece bowl / low vase. The piece is attributed to the Barovier e Toso company. It was created with a controlled bubble decoration (Bullicante technique), with a rectangular shape that flares out towards the rim. It has a scalloped ribbon decoration along each corner, with gold leaf on the surface. Would make a great display piece on any coffee table, credenza or mantel. Use it as a catchall, fruit bowl or even fill it with flowers to create a gorgeous centerpiece. Early Mid-century era. Measures: 11" long x 5 1/2" wide x 5" tall.
